Our museum summer is a tradition of summer exhibitions formed from our own museum treasury. The tradition has been around for a long time, but in the “Museum Residence” it will remind of itself for the first time. Today we have a lot of things that are for the first time, but the work to present the collection, to create unexpected dialogues between the works in a new space, remains constant. At the “Summer-24” exhibition, the emphasis is on works that have not yet been exhibited at all or have been exhibited for quite some time.
Some of the works are new arrivals. And there are many of them: both donated works and works purchased in the last period. At the exhibition “Summer-24” we will see new works donated by famous Kyiv artists: Nina Bondarenko, Iryna Godunova, Olga Kravchenko, Olena Agamyan, Igor Chamata.
The classics of the open-air Crimean school V. Tolochko, V. Bernadskyi, P. Stolyarenko will warm the halls with sunny painting.
“Carpathian rhythms” will inspire M. Demtsua and V. Patyk. Kharkiv residents P.Shygymaga, B.Kolesnyk, V.Gontarov will be captivated by their own “Magical World”, and the time spent in the country, together with the work of O. Yablonska, as well as “The House where they are waiting for you”, the work of V. Martsenyuk, will leave with a feeling of shared concerns, an attitude towards the most precious and the value of the everyday…
Many trips are offered to the viewer at the Lito-24 exhibition. The variety of artistic approaches to plot selection creates a wide thematic palette.
