Live lecture “Romantic Mythology: Goddesses and Heroes”

The museum restores the format of the offline art project “Conversations about Art”
Event date: On October 12 (Saturday), the lecture “Romantic Mythology: Goddesses and Heroes” will take place.
The museum invites you to an interesting and exciting lecture about romantic stories in myths, which are embodied in beautiful paintings by famous artists. What inspired artists in myths? Which gods and heroes of myths were the most popular in art? How to “read” these stories in pictures? We will discuss all these topics at the lecture, looking at the wonderful works of artists of different centuries.
After the lecture, we admire the bright and original exhibition “Together…” by Volodymyr Veshtak and Iryna Veshtak-Ostromenska. And during a short excursion, we will get to know the work of these talented artists. And then we will continue talking about beautiful art over a glass of wine and a sweet treat. The lecturer is Kateryna Tarchevska, cultural expert, art critic, author of materials about culture and art in periodicals and catalogs.
The lecture starts on October 12 (Saturday) at 13:00.
Duration – approximately 1.5 hours.
