The museum is in a hurry to meet art connoisseurs in one of the oldest museum institutions of Ukraine, founded in the second half of the 19th century – the Zhytomyr Regional Museum of Local Lore! Paintings from a private collection will become part of the space of the historic building.

Today, for residents of Zhytomyr, visitors to the museum, we present people from Transcarpathia: V. Mykyta, V. Prikhodko, Yu. Herts, people from Odesa: O. Sleshynskyi, O. Voloshinov, people from Crimea: V. Tsvetkova, V. Bernadskyi, people from Kyiv: E. Kotkova, L. Rapoport, A. Kryvolapa, from Lviv: L. Medvidya, R. Selskyi, from Kharkiv: Ye. Svitlichny, V. Gontarov, others…

We hope that three dozen works will give the viewer an idea of ​​the collection of the First Private Museum of Modern Art of Ukraine, will interest and will inspire you to visit the “Museum Residence” in Kyiv, because this is an opportunity to expand the imagination of the work of artists whose names are included in the general context of the development of modern art in the country.
